LIVE! Chuck Neighbors one man show

On March 17th during the 10:45 a.m. worship service, LOCC will welcome actor Chuck Neighbors of Master's Image. We will be privileged to experience his presentation of "Not The Way I Heard It", which brings to life some of our favorite parables -- familiar stories told in a fresh new way. Jesus was the master storyteller. He used parables to capture the attention and imagination of his audience. He knew a good story was something we could relate to and make us think. He used these stories to help us understand the things of God. If Jesus were here sharing those parables today he might update them to capture the attention and imagination of our current culture. You will hear The Parable of the Talents; The Parable of the Prodigal Son; The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard; The Parable of the Good Samaritan; and The Parable of the Sower and the Seeds. Come let your faith be encouraged at the retelling of these parables!
