61st Conejo Valley Days Seeks Vendors
Artisans, craftspeople and businesses can now sign up for the 61st annual Conejo Valley Days, May 11 through 14, in Thousand Oaks.

Artisans, craftspeople and businesses can now sign up for the 61st annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD) being held May 11 through 14 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd./23 Freeway) in Thousand Oaks.
This year, 36 vendors will be housed in an enclosed merchant tent and another 24 will be outside, facing outward along the sides of the tent. Booth sizes are 10’x10’ (larger booths are available). Vendors can also bring their own pop-up canopies and pay a discounted rate. CVD booth vendors are required to decorate their booths in a western theme and wear western attire.
The four-day event features entertainment for kids, teens and the whole family including live music, motocross freestyle exhibitions, outhouse races and other free attractions. Live entertainment and hands-on exhibits are included with general admission. Headlining the entertainment are ‘70s bands Ambrosia and Player.

Over 25 local nonprofit groups participate in CVD each year, raising money that is invested back into the community. “Our mission at CVD is twofold,” says Frank Akrey, CVD executive director. “The first is to provide the area with a wonderful, first-class event that has something for everyone. Second, is to provide an avenue in which local nonprofits can earn money for their school, organization or cause.”
CVD hours are Thursday, May 11, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, noon to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 14, noon to 8:00 p.m.
