Active Adult Center Film Series Continues Friday With 'Everything Must Go'
The Cinema at the Popcorn Palace features films every Friday.

The Active Adult Center’s Cinema at the Popcorn Palace movie series offers seniors the opportunity to view films on a large screen in a theater-like setting with a 10-foot screen, surround sound and occasional snacks—all for free.
This month, the series continues beginning Friday with a screening of Everything Must Go, starring Will Ferrell as Nick, a good-hearted but relapsed alcoholic who decides to live on his front lawn after losing his job and being thrown out by his wife. The R-rated comedy, like all the films, will be shown at 12:45 p.m.

Jan. 13: Horrible Bosses. This R-rated comedy tells the story of a trio of disgruntled buddies—Nick (Jason Bateman) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie Day)—who can’t leave their jobs so they create plots to get rid of one another’ employers, played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey.
Jan. 20: Green Lantern. An alien force of warriors selects test pilot Hal Jordan, played by Ryan Reynolds, to be their representative on Earth and use his new powers as the Green Lantern to promote order and justice before conflict destroys his world. This film is rated PG-13.

Jan. 27: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Johnny Depp is back as Capt. Jack Sparrow in this PG-13 rated action adventure. Capt. Jack meets his match in the mysterious beauty Angelica (Penelope Cruz), who forces him to join in her search for the Fountain of Youth.
