American Christopher Horner of Team Radio Shack won stage four of the Amgen Tour of California by more than a minute ahead of the next competitors Wednesday to claim the bike race's overall lead. The Tour de France style road race, the biggest in the United States, draws top riders from around the world and will pass through Moorpark Sunday. Stage Four went from Livermore to San Jose and included two particularly steep hills. Thursday's  138.9-mile Stage Five will start in Seaside and head east through the decommissioned Fort Ord, down through Carmel Valley, across to King City and down to finish in Paso Robles.
