
The High Street Arts Center will host auditions for The Music Man, its last production of the season, later this month.
The show, which will be under the direction of Ken Patton, has a variety of roles for men and women in their 20s to 40s and for children and teens (see specific roles on the Art Center's website). The production is non-paid and non-equity.
Auditions will take place by appointment at 7:30 p.m. March 26, 28 and 29 at the Moorpark Community Center, 799 Moorpark Ave. Callbacks will be at noon March 31. For an appointment, call 805-529-8700.

Those auditioning will be asked to bring traditional musical theater song selections that demonstrate characteristics of the role they are interested in. Songs from The Music Man, pop songs and a capella singing are not allowed. Prepare up to a minute of music for your audition. Also, be prepared to dance and bring a picture and resume if you have them.
Performances are scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays May 25 through July 1.
