With the support of The Chop Shop, The Ventura County Blues Society has partnered with Martin Del Villar and his organization V.E.T.S.(Veteran's Education and Training Services) to raise money to help Veterans. Martin served for three years in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam (1968-1969) with the 1st Infantry Division and is a combat wounded and decorated service connected veteran. VETS is a Non Profit Corporation (501-C3) and is comprised of Professionals that bring their expertise and knowledge to VETS in order to give the Veteran and their families the information that they need. 

The concert will feature local, regional, national and international Blues artists that include Michael John and the Bottom Line, Phil Gates, Mickey Mo, Tommy Marsh, The Guy Martin Band, Hot Roux, Ray Jaurique & The Uptown Brothers Band, Delgado Brothers, John Marx and Blues Patrol, BB Chung King and The Buddaheads with special guest Coco Montoya. Kelly's Lot will perform a couple of songs dedicated to our Veterans and Celebrity Drummer and Actor Mickey Jones will be the Master of Ceremonies. This special event will take place at The Chop Shop in Simi Valley from 1-9pm on Saturday Nov 9, 2013. It is located at 4351 Valley Fair St Simi Valley, CA 93068. Presale tickets are $15.00 and $20 at the door.

There will be awards given out to Veterans from the area and all money from ticket sales will go directly to the the Veteran Organization.
