Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley ~ 36th Annual Auction

A week in Maui. A basketball autographed by Kobe Bryant. An African Safari for two. An autographed jersey from Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers. A custom Harley. What do these have in common?

They are among the biggest items available at the 36th Annual Auction for the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley on June 21.

"We have been blessed so far with donations of really impressive items, services and travel packages," said Virginia Hayward, chief executive officer for the Boys & Girls Club. "And we still have a few weeks left so we're reaching out into the community for further donations of items and services, especially smaller or mid-size items for the silent auction."

So far the Live Auction is packed with an impressive lineup:

  • An African Safari for two valued at $5,950
  • A Custom-Made Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
  • Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Disney Tour & Tickets
  • An Autographed Los Angeles Clippers Chris Paul Team Jersey
  • 8 Days and 7 Nights in Maui Plus $1,000 Toward Airfare
  • A Basketball Autographed by Los Angeles Lakers Legend Kobe Bryant
  • Chris Paul and Blake Griffin L.A. Clippers Autographed Basketball
The auction is set for Saturday, June 21, 2014 in the Air Force One Pavilion at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Drive in west Simi Valley, off Madera Road between the Ronald Reagan (118) and Moorpark (23) freeways.

The Auction last year attracted more than 400 guests, and more than 250 fantastic auction items. This year's event, under the theme "An Evening of Elegance," is black-tie optional. Cocktails and the silent auction are set to start at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the Live Auction at 7:30 p.m.

Please RSVP by June 6. To register online, visit www.bgcsimi.com. Further information: (805) 527-4437.
