Current Ventura County Astronomical Society VP of Observation Dave Holland will give a talk on Observing Asterisms. An asterism is an easily recognizable, non-official star pattern. They are a great way to navigate the night sky and learn constellations. Dave has 50 years experience as an astronomer. He built telescopes, published imager and currently a lab assistant and observatory custodian at the Charles Temple Observatory at Moorpark College.
