California Strawberry Festival Offers Group Discount Rates

Plan a group outing to the California Strawberry Festival's 35th Anniversary Celebration, May 19 and 20, and enjoy special ticket discounts. The annual event at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard celebrates all things strawberry.

Now through April 30, groups of 20 or more that order tickets in advance receive a $1 discount on each ticket and two additional complimentary tickets (ideal for a bus driver or tour director). Information and downloadable forms are available at www.CAStrawberryFestival.org/buy-tickets.

Filled with fun activities for all ages, the festival features 50 food booths—each serving at least one strawberry-themed item. Cooking demonstrations at the Strawberry Promenade, pie eating contests and other gooey events, free concerts, more than 200 fine arts and crafts booths and a Strawberryland For Kids with rides and entertainment round out the fun-filled festival—all on over 15 acres of parkland (last year, the festival enlarged the grounds by 50 percent).

Seniors (62 and over) - $7

Children (ages 5 -12) - $4

Kids under 5 - free
