Camarillo Public Library Chinese New Year Event Feburary 8, 2014

Camarillo Public Library in Camarillo will be hosting their annual Chinese New Year event on Saturday February 8, 2014. This event is free for all and will take place outside of the library. The annual event is Ventura County’s largest Chinese New Year gathering. This year the library has invited some of Los Angeles and Ventura County’s finest gourmet Asian themed food trucks who will be serving their delicious, ethnic street food for this special occasion.

Jogasaki Sushi BurritoLet’s Roll It, White Rabbit Truck and Kona Ice will be serving in front of the main entrance of the library from 12pm-4pm. Come out and celebrate the Year of the Horse,  there will be live entertainment including: Chinese Lion Dancing,  Chinese Folk Dances, Chinese Acrobats, Chinese Ensemble Music, Crafts and demonstrations and much more!

You’re encouraged to bring your lawn chair (probably a jacket and blanket, too) sit back and enjoy the program! This is a great event for the entire family! The Chinese New Year event is co-sponsored by the Ventura County Chinese American Association and Chinese Language School.
