City Offers Skate Fest

If your teen is mumbling something about backsides and half pipes this morning, don’t worry. There’s nothing sketchy going on. Chances are they’re just talking about the Skate Fest taking place today.

The teen event takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. at and will feature skating competitions and live entertainment. Girl band That’s What She Said and boy band Shadows of Aries will perform.

There will be pizza, kettle corn, drinks and other munchies available for $1 apiece and Surfin’ West Boardshop of Simi Valley and Moorpark’s Chronic Tacos will also be at the Fest.

Admission is $2 (or free with a flier) and signup for the competitions take place at the park.
