City to Showcase Talent

Moorpark residents will perform in the city's third annual talent show Saturday.

This weekend, Moorpark residents have the opportunity to see just what kind of talents their friends and neighbors posess. The city will host its third annual Moorpark Has Talent show Saturday.

The show will feature dancers, singers, musicians, a magic show and a performance involving Chinese yo-yos. The twelve acts were selected through two open auditions that took place last month. (See the Patch video from the auditions below.)

Show winners, who will be judged by a panel of judges as well as the audience, will receive $500.

Performing will be Breonna Madrigal, Corina Gonzales, Benjamin Myers, Lexie Zastrow, Kristen Szczepanek, Corrina Edwards, Elle Ziemer, Maddie Padilla, Hayley Myers, Kristen Jones, Shane Peterson, Hector Lopez and break dance crew Rebel Alliance with Eliseo Zavala, Michael Valdivia, Justin Lamm and Alejandro Solano and teen band What Goes Up with Peter Bennington, Brendan Clearly, Casey Desain and Elan Elnrhardt.

The show begins at 7 p.m. at the , 45 E. High St. Tickets are $10 at the door.
