Conejo Y Camp Sequoia Lake Info Night: July 18

An information and rally night for the Conejo Valley YMCA’s Sequoia Lake
away camp will be held Friday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Y (4031 N. Moorpark
Rd., Thousand Oaks). Kids entering grades third through 12 in the fall are
eligible to attend the camp. Camp dates are August 2 through 9.

The information night is for potential campers and their parents to
learn about camp life and camper responsibilities. At Sequoia Lake, campers
will be active from sunrise to sunset experiencing a high rope course, climbing
wall, adventure courses, canoeing, fishing, lake swimming, archery, rock
climbing and arts and crafts. In addition, campers will take part in
traditional YMCA camp activities--campfires, dances, slideshows and the Y’s rag
and leather motivational and rewards program.
