Conejo YMCA’s Halloween Fun Night: Oct. 25

Ghosts, superheroes and princesses (and their families) are invited to the Conejo Valley YMCA’s Halloween Family Fun Night for pumpkin carving and costume contests on Friday, October 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free and the community is invited.

 

            "This is an opportunity for kids to show off their costumes early--before Halloween," says  Haley Swenson, Conejo Y youth program director.

            The YMCA will supply free pumpkins while supplies last, carving templates and tools although families can bring their own special pumpkin for carving. Healthy snacks will be served throughout the evening. “We have all the tools and templates for families to create scary or funny pumpkin designs,” says Swenson. It’s a great family project. Plus, the Y will clean up all the mess that normally comes after serious pumpkin carving."

            The Conejo Valley YMCA is at 4031 N. Moorpark Rd. Halloween Family Fun Night will be held in the Y's community room. For more information, call the YMCA at 805-523-7613.
