The Moorpark City Council will have joint meetings with the Arts and Parks and Recreation commissions Wednesday. The meeting with the Arts Commission begins at 6:15 p.m. and the Council will meet with the Parks and Rec. Commission at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 799 Moorpark Ave. The Council and Parks and Recreation Commission will discuss bicycle usage at the skate park at Poindexter Park, an issue brought before the council by Moorpark residents recently. They will also consider the mission, priorities and goals of the commission for fiscal year 2011/2012 and direction for next year. The Arts Commission meeting will include a presentation of a city public art survey and also the mission, priorities, etc., of this commission.
