County Emergency Planning Council to Meet
The organization will discuss emergency responses.

The Ventura County Emergency Planning Council will hold a special meeting to discuss local tsunami advisory and radiological concerns, according to a statement issued by the council Thursday afternoon.
The meeting—which will focus on interagency response, coordination, public information and response planning—will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Ventura County Public Health administrative conference room #200 at 2240 E. Gonzales Road, Oxnard and is open to the public.
Members of the Council include representatives from the sheriff’s department, county fire department, county health care agency, county public works department, the American Red Cross, the county general services agency and a number of other organizations.
