Energy and Economization

How a new, community program, called Simi Valley Conserves, can help resident save energy and money!

Simi Valley Conserves is a program in Simi Valley that is exclusive to the local residents. It is a non-profit organization that serves to catalyze energy saving among the residents and, in the long run, save them some money. We set up free energy consultations with them at their discretion, and in these sessions we show them simple ways to save energy in their homes. There is absolutely no cost nor bargaining involved within the meeting; it is entirely free and beneficial for the residents.

The ultimate goal of Simi Valley Conserves is to save residents energy. To do this, we first look at their recent energy usage and from there determine what the best strategy is to preserve energy within their household. Most of the time the process involves trivial habit changes that will in turn save a lot of energy. It is these minute differences that can contribute to a much larger overall goal that will not only greatly benefit the residents, but also the economy of Simi Valley as a whole.
