Friends of the Library used book sale at Moorpark Country Days

Moorpark Country Days Four Bucks a Bag Book Sale starting October 6

The Moorpark Friends of the Library will be showcasing a fabulous Four Bucks a Bag used book sale on Saturday October 6 at the Moorpark Country Days festival on High Street in old town Moorpark from 9 AM to 3 PM.  We’ll have a huge selection of fiction and non-fiction hardcovers and paperbacks in all genres and for all ages.  It’s the biggest selection around of gently used books! 

And it’s all just for Four Bucks a bag!!!  Talk about a Fab Four event!

Better yet, if you’re a member of the Moorpark Friends of the Library, you get a reduced rate of only Three Bucks a Bag!   Our annual memberships only cost $10 per individual, and we offer family, patron, and Premier memberships as well.  We’ll be offering memberships at our booth, so if you’re not yet a member, please sign up and take advantage of the special member price! 

Whether you’re a member or a prospective member of the Moorpark Friends of the Library , simply buy a Moorpark Friends of the Library plastic book bag for $3 or $4 and fill it with as many books as you can from our wide selection of popular fiction, romance, children’s books, young adult books, history, business, health, family, and lots more.  Stuff as many as you can into your bag!  Build your home library or pick up some easy leisure-time reading.  Chances are, we have a book (or a bag of books!) for every interest and purpose.

We’ll be open throughout the Country Days celebration, so please stop by early and see what we have to offer. 

But, if you can’t make it on Saturday, we’ll be continuing the sale until Sunday October 14 on the front porch of the library during regular business hours.

Best of all: 100% of the proceeds go right to the library for their children's and other reading programs!
