THREE BUCKS A BAG BOOK SALE

February 4 – 15, 2012

At the Moorpark City Library

The Moorpark City Library and the Moorpark Friends of the Library are co-sponsoring a winter book sale starting Saturday February 4 and running through Wednesday February 15.   On sale are loads of fiction, non-fiction, children’s, paperbacks and hardcovers, all gently used.  Great selections for your home library, winter reading, children’s reading, charity donations and for sending to our soldiers overseas.  We even have DVD’s for your viewing enjoyment.

And it’s all for only THREE DOLLARS FOR A GREAT BIG BAG!!!!  Stuff as many books as you can into each bag.  It’s still only three dollars!  Buy as many bags as you’d like.  But buy early while the selection is at its best.  Our opening day on Saturday will be especially big, with tables of books spilling out into the parking lot.  It’s our biggest and best selection day, so make a special effort to attend Saturday’s grand opening at 10 AM!  After that, the sale will be on the front porch of the library and will be open during all library hours (M-Th 10 – 8; F-S 10 – 5; S 1 – 5). 

Something new for this sale will be our opening-day-only selection of special value books.  These are beautiful and/or unusual books that will be offered at special prices, and won’t be part of the main Three Bucks a Bag sale.  They will be individually priced, but will still be outstanding bargains.  And as they say in retail: “For one day only!”  So check them out on Saturday.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the Moorpark City Library and its many reading programs. 

Also, take advantage of this sale to become a member of the Moorpark Friends of the Library.  Individual memberships are only $10; family memberships are only $25 and entitle you and your family to some great bookstore benefits for an entire year.  Look for applications in the library, the bookstore, and on the sale tables in the library porch.
