UFOS Over California: A True History of Extraterrestrial Encounters in the Golden State
Free Event presented by the Moorpark City Library

Did you know that more UFOs are seen in California than anywhere else in the country? With more than 5000 cases, California is the leading producer of UFO reports in the United States. Some of the world's most important encounters have taken place here and on Sunday, November 21, you will find out why. Join us at the Moorpark City Library for a dynamic slideshow presentation by author Preston Dennett, UFO researcher and field investigator. Dennett is the author of ten books and more than one hundred articles in such magazines as Fate, MUFON UFO Journal, NEXUS and Mysteries Magazine. He has appeared on the History Channel's Deep Sea UFOs and UFO Hunters.

--The Coronado Island UFO Incident: a groundbreaking 1994 abduction case involving more than six independent adult witnesses, and considerable medical evidence.  Dennett will show how these six adults (each with a history of UFO encounters) were brought together to participate in one of the most well-verified UFO contacts in history.

--Is there an Underwater UFO Base off the Coast of Southern California?  More than 50 cases of USOs (unidentified submersible objects) have been reported off the coast of southern California.  Dennett has personally investigated dozens of cases and will present his theory as to why there might be a base in the Santa Catalina Channel, and will talk about several new unpublished cases, and his involvement in the History Channel Series: "Deep Sea UFOs Part 1 and 2."

--The 1992 Topanga Canyon UFO Wave:  On June 14, 1992, more than 17 independent adult witnesses observed a wave of UFOs over the Santa Monica Mountains, launching a two-year-long wave of epic proportions, including the entire range of encounters.  Dennett will present the results of his investigation into the wave, including firsthand cases, eyewitness drawings, photographs, eyewitness audiotapes and more.

This special event will be held at the Moorpark City Library on Sunday, November 21st starting at 2:00 pm. Admission is always free and seating is limited. The library is located at 699 Moorpark Avenue, just north of High Street. For more information, call (805) 517-6371 or find us on the web at www.moorparklibrary.org.
