
The Conejo Valley YMCA will host two spring break camps from March 19 through 23 for Moorpark and Conejo Valley students at: MATES (Meadows Art & Technology Elementary School) in Thousand Oaks (2000 La Granada Drive) and Peach Hill Academy in Moorpark (13400 Christian Barrett Rd.). The camp is for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. Extended hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Each day of camp will feature a different holiday theme. Monday will feature Presidents' Day, Tuesday offers a salute to July 4, Wednesday will be Halloween themed, Thursday will be Cinco De Mayo day and Friday will be a St. Patrick's Day celebration. Every day will include outdoor activities such as a shamrock hunt, monster mash dance and capture the flag game, and arts and crafts projects including making cotton ball beards, American flags and noisemakers.
The camps are run by the YMCA's licensed daycare providers. Campers do not need to be currently enrolled in YMCA childcare to participate.
