
The Home Instead Senior Care network offers free resources to families who are living with Alzheimer’s.
A workshop offering solutions for issues that commonly arise when
caring for someone with the disease will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Mon., Oct. 28 at 6593 Collins Drive, Ste. D-10, Moorpark.
Attendees will receive a version of the “Alzheimer’s CARE: Changing
Aging through Research and Education” training program that was
developed for the network’s professional CAREGivers.

Also available is a free “Confidence to Care at Home” reference kit
with tips and resources to help handle difficult situations, avoid
household accidents, encourage engagement and prevent caregiver stress.
Home Instead Senior Care has also developed a free smartphone app titled “Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias Daily Helper.”
