Join Moorpark Girl Scouts

The Girl Scout program encourages girls to be individuals and leaders.

Now is the time to join the Moorpark Girl Scouts!

As Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Girls grow courageous and strong through a wide variety of enriching experiences, such as field trips, skill-building sports clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships.

Girl Scouts helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.

Typical girl scout troops meet approximately twice a month, usually in a classroom or at a church facility. They work on earning badges, patches or petals which teach them honor, loyalty and friendship, among others. Troops may also take field trips and may participate in a service unit activity once or twice a month.

Who are we looking for?
- Girls who are interested in learning, experiencing new things, making new friends, and having FUN.
- Parents who are willing to take an active role to ensure the best experience for their daughter.
