LightGabler Free Employment Law Seminar: Paper is the Employer’s Best Friend

Employment law firm LightGabler is presenting a free employment law seminar, “Paper is the Employer’s Best Friend--Effective Documentation in Employee Relations, Discipline, Arbitration and Severance/Releases.” The seminar will be held twice: Tuesday, October 11 in Oxnard and Tuesday, October 25 in Simi Valley.

Effective paperwork is the key to a solid defense in employment litigation. What you do up front can make a difference later, both in the workplace and in the courtroom.

LightGabler employment law attorney Karen Gabler will focus on the best documentation strategies for dealing with the most problematic areas of employer/employee relationships. Seminar topics include offer letters, warnings and probation, termination, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, arbitration, confidentiality agreements and exempt versus non-exempt employee status.

The Oxnard seminar will be held at the Oxnard Courtyard Marriott (600 East Esplanade Dr., Oxnard) and the Simi Valley seminar will take place at the Best Western Posada Royale Hotel (1775 Madera Rd., Simi Valley). Both seminars are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served.
