Mayor to Discuss Movie Studio on Television
KABC television will air an interview with Mayor Janice Parvin regarding Moorpark West Movie Studio today.

ABC affiliate KABC/ABC7 was in town today to interview Moorpark Mayor Janice Parvin regarding the .
In a unanimous vote, the council gave its blessings for the 559,450-square-foot studio complex—which has been three years in the making thus far—to be built along Los Angeles Avenue, west of Gabbert Street. Developers anticipate it could be another three years before the project is complete.
It's at the Los Angeles Avenue location where a KABC reporter met with and interviewed Parvin.

"She asked where I wanted to meet and I said the best place to meet would be at the location," Parvin said.
At Wednesday night's meeting, Parvin called the studio "a state-of-the-art facility that I have not seen anywhere else."

"I think it's fabulous for Moorpark in so many different ways, not just for jobs, but for the businesses that are already here," Parvin said Thursday.
Parvin said she was told the segment would air in the 4 p.m. news hour.
