Metrolink Rail Maintenance Work In Moorpark From Dec. 3-5

WHAT: Nighttime Metrolink Railroad Maintenance Work

WHERE: Along Metrolink's Ventura County Line - between Burbank and East Ventura

WHEN: 8 pm – 4:30 am daily - Thursday, December 3 until Saturday, December 5

To ensure safety and reliability, Metrolink crews will be inspecting and making improvements on the Metrolink railroad tracks throughout their system. It will affect the Ventura County line December 3 through December 5.

During this maintenance work, they anticipate the following impacts:

• Noise from equipment backup alarms
• Lights from light towers and/or on-track equipment

Work Schedule: Ventura County Line - between Burbank and East Ventura Thursday, December 3 until Saturday, December 5.

Please note: Their construction dates and times are subject to change without notice. There may be additional clean-up and preparation work before and after the project is completed.

In some areas, the work area goes through a designated Quite Zone. According the Federal Railroad Administration safety regulations, trains may blow their horns due to work crew on or near the tracks.
