Moorpark Bus Schedule to Change

Moorpark's bus routes one and two will have a new schedule come Monday.

Route One will start at 7 a.m., with the first pick-up point in front of Woodcreek Apartments on Spring Road. The route currently begins at 6 a.m., with the first pick-up point in front of Moorpark City Hall.

Route Two will begin at 6:10 a.m. at the first regular pick-up point in front of City Hall. It currently begins at 6:40 a.m. Route Two's last drop-off point will be at Moorpark College at 4:53 p.m. instead of 6:02 p.m. at Moorpark City Hall. 

Passengers who are still on board Route two at 4:53 p.m. may request that the driver take them to their final Route Two bus stop destination.  The Route Two driver will be able to perform this service without traveling through the rest of the route and without picking up passengers at other bus stops.

Schedule adjustments are being made primarily in response to Moorpark Unified School District’s recent announcement to change Moorpark High School’s 7:30 am. to 2:30 p.m. schedule to 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The new bus schedule will enable passengers to arrive and depart from the high school between 15 and 18 minutes before classes start and between 15 and 22 minutes after school ends for the day.
