Moorpark equestrian Jan Ebeling will be riding Rafalca, a 15-year-old mare from Germany, during the dressage competition this Thursday at the London Olympics.
Milk chocolate-coated Rafalca is an Oldenburg, a centuries-old breed of horses known for their long legs and strong gaits, making them perfect for dressage and show jumping.
Lately, Rafalca has been getting some extraordinary attention when The New York Times revealed that Ann Romney, wife of the presumptive Republican candidate, is one of her owners.
