Moorpark Groundhod Day 5K/10K and 1 Mile Run
Join us for the 6th Annual Groundhog Day Road Race to Benefit the MHS Cross Country and Track Teams

The Groundhog will be running again on Saturday February 4th 2018 during Moorpark’s 6th annual premier 5K/10K road race and one-mile fun run.
Benefitting Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs, the Groundhog Day event will feature a 10K for the first time in 2018. Starting and ending on the track at the high school, both the 5K and 10K are fast, chip timed road races with an exciting finish in the beautiful Moorpark High School stadium. All ages and abilities are welcome including walkers and strollers and in the spirit of Groundhog Day, costumes are encouraged. There will also be a “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under which will be held on the track with finisher medals for all. Registration fees include a t-shirt for all runners.
Scott Mangers, a coach of the Musketeer cross country and track programs said the school wants to recognize and celebrate Moorpark being an active community whilst raising much needed funds for the high school’s cross country and track teams.
