Moorpark Has Talent

The City of Moorpark is
pleased to announce the 5th annual “Moorpark
Has Talent” talent show, to be held on Friday, March 21st, 2014 at
7:00 pm at the High Street Arts Center. Ten finalists will be chosen to perform
at the event from two up-coming auditions. 



Prizes for top finalists are: $500 First Place, $300 Second Place, $200
Third Place. A consolation prize for all remaining finalists will be given.



Auditions will be held on Wednesday, February 19th from 6:00
pm – 10:00 pm and Saturday, February 22nd from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at
the High Street Arts Center, 45 East High Street.

Who can enter: 1. Acts of all ages. 2. Must be amateur performers. 3.
Individuals must be Moorpark residents and at least 50% of a group must be Moorpark residents. 4. Acts must be no more than 10
minutes, including setup and tear down. 5. No dangerous acts, profanity, or
weapons will be allowed. 6. Individuals may enter once as an individual and
once as part of a group.



Pre-registration for auditions is now open for audition spots. To
register for an audition, fill out an application form, available at www.MoorparkCa.gov or at the Arroyo Vista
Recreation Center, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Submit payment of the $10 entry
fee, along with application to: City of Moorpark attn: Talent Show Application,
799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark CA 93021 or drop off at the Arroyo Vista
Recreation Center, 4550, Tierra Rejada Road. Staff will inform you prior to the
audition date of your approximate audition time. Drop-in auditions will be
accepted on a space available basis.
