The second annual No-Limit Texas Hold ‘em Charity Poker Tournament presented by the Kiwanis Club of Moorpark is on Saturday, October 14 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. This year’s event will be held at McGregor’s Craft Beer & Wine, 144 W. Los Angeles Ave. in Moorpark. Sponsors include McGregor’s, HAIRCUT PLACE, Z-Ultimate (Moorpark) and many sponsored prizes from a variety of Moorpark businesses.
Proceeds from the poker tournament will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Moorpark which supports the youth in our community, including Key Club, Builders Club, K-Kids, Terrific Kids, Breakfast with Santa, and college scholarships.
Experience is not as important as you think— last year, several of the winners had little to no experience playing poker. Tickets are $60 pre-sale and $70 at the door. The event features over $5000 in prizes, splash pots, re-buys and add-ons. Plus, $500 Bonus Chips to pre-sale participants! Complimentary appetizers and one drink ticket are included.
