Moorpark Street Sweeping Parking Non-Enforcement Extended Through July

Street sweeping continued, but the sweeper went around parked vehicles without issuing tickets.

June 30, 2020

When Sheltering At Home orders were issued in March, the City stopped issuing citations for vehicles parked on the street during scheduled street sweeping times. Street sweeping continued, but the sweeper went around parked vehicles without issuing tickets. This has resulted in only partially-cleaned streets.

Although street sweeping parking enforcement was originally scheduled to resume on July 7, the City has extended its non-enforcement of street sweeping parking restrictions through the rest of July. However, so we can get as thorough a street cleaning as possible, residents are still asked to move their vehicles off the street if they are able to.
