Retreat H.O.P.E. – A healing retreat for women who
have had a baby die during pregnancy, infancy or early toddlerhood.
Retreat H.O.P.E. will be hosting itsinaugural retreat at a private villa in Ojai, CA, from April 11-13. The retreat is for women who have had babiesdie during pregnancy, infancy or early toddlerhood.
Retreat H.O.P.E. is a joint venture between Rachel Crawford and Crystal Tenpenny of Teamotions, and Kiley Hanish, co-creator of Return to Zero, an independent feature film about stillbirth starring Minnie Driver.
Both Rachel Crawford and Kiley Hanish have experienced the
unimaginable tragedy of infant death. They created Retreat H.O.P.E. to offer:
Healing from grief,
Optimism for your journey, a
Plan for the future, and
Encouragement from others.
We are keeping the retreat small (25 women max.) and the goal ofRetreat H.O.P.E. is to put the focus on the mother who has experienced this loss and to share valuable tools and insights that can be used over a lifetime to care for her body, mind, and heart in new ways after loss.
Activities such as a Teamotions Tea Tasting and Education, a psycho-digestive cooking class, yoga and meditation, writing and self-discovery, and group discussion will help the mother to process, and transform grief into healing.
Organic food prepared by Ojai’s own Caspar Poyck will complement this healing experience.
