Ventura County Ballet Company will once again dance into the
hearts of local residents during their annual must-see holiday event, “The
Nutcracker”. It’s that time of the year when Ventura College’s 52-piece symphony orchestra will accompany VCBC, thrilling audiences with its storytelling, visual effects and opulent costumes. A sugar plum cookie reception will take place after each matinee. The upcoming performances are on November 23 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. & 24 at 2 p.m. at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center (800 Hobson Way, Oxnard), and December 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. & 22 at 2 p.m. at the newly renovated Ventura College Performing Arts Center (4700 Loma Vista Rd, Ventura).
