Ventura County Government: Board Of Supervisors To Host First Redistricting Community Meeting On August 31, 2021

Ventura, CA - The County of Ventura’s Board of Supervisors will host the first of five virtual Community Meetings about the supervisorial redistricting process on August 31, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Community members are invited to learn about redistricting and provide input to the Board of Supervisors on how district boundaries should be drawn to best represent communities in Ventura County.

The meetings can be accessed with the details below and no registration is required. Spanish interpretation will be available.

To ensure that all persons have an opportunity to participate, each speaker will have at least three minutes to provide input. The meeting facilitator may extend each speaker’s time depending on the number of persons in attendance. The meetings will be streamed on www.ventura.org/redistricting and on the County Facebook pages in English at @CountyofVentura and in Spanish at @CondadodeVenturaEspanol. All meetings will be recorded and posted on the redistricting website.

Residents can also provide input through the online mapping tool at or submitting a community input form at www.ventura.org/redistricting. Community members can also visit Ventura County Libraries, Oxnard Libraries and the Blanchard Community Library to provide input utilizing library computers or submit their hard copy materials at the library.
