FRIDAY

A Few Good Men: Moorpark residents are raving about the High Street Arts Center’s production of Aaron Sorkin’s Marine Corps legal drama. The play, inspired by true events, follows the defense of two Marines on trial for the death of a fellow Marine on Guantanamo Bay. Standard tickets are $18; Tickets for seniors, military personnel, students and teachers are $14 and tickets for children 12 and younger are $10 (though the show is recommended for mature audiences). Cups: Conejo Valley’s Theatre League’s production traces the milestones in a woman’s life through the bras she’s worn. The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays through Sept. 4 with shows at 8 p.m. during the week and Saturdays and 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Tickets are $29 and $34 and available through Ticketmaster or at the box office.

Devo: Whip it good with one of the defining bands of the 80’s at 9 p.m. at the , 28912 Roadside Dr, Agoura Hills. Tickets are $69-$89.

Working: Based on the best-selling book of interviews with American workers by Studs Terkel (author of Wicked), the musical explores the American workday from the Monday morning blues to a worker’s pride in a job well done. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays through Sept. 11 at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Tickets are $18 ($14 for children) and available online.

SUNDAY

Brian Wilson: The man behind so many Beach Boy songs will perform at 8 p.m. at the Canyon Club. Tickets are $68.
