β€’ Engineering & Mission Operations Facility Ames Research Center (gsa.gov) β€” A major new Engineering and Mission Operations facility is planned at NASA Ames in Mountain View's Moffett Federal Airfield, with construction targeted from summer 2027 to fall 2029. The $40–$60 million, 30,000-square-foot building will replace older structures and give defense, tech, academic, and federal tenants a modern, efficient hub, reinforcing Mountain View's role in national research and space operations.
