• County and Partners Break Ground on Affordable Housing Project in Mountain View (sanjoseinside.com) — A new 108-unit La Bella affordable housing complex is breaking ground at 1020 Terra Bella Ave., expanding options for Mountain View residents experiencing homelessness, low incomes, or disabilities. Backed by $10.5 million in county funds, it's part of a broader city–county push that's already funded nearly 180 rapid rehousing and supportive units in Mountain View, with strong access to transit and jobs.
   

• Weeklys acquires Los Altos Town Crier (losaltosonline.com) — Mountain View neighborhoods will continue receiving the Los Altos Town Crier under new ownership, after Weeklys Media Group acquired the long-running community newspaper this week. The Santa Clara County-based publisher says it plans to maintain the paper's strong local focus while adding its technical and digital expertise, aiming to keep hyperlocal coverage of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View vibrant for readers and advertisers.
