October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States (other than skin cancers). It is estimated that 231,840 American women will be diagnosed with the disease in 2015. Come increase your awareness and learn “Breast Cancer Facts That Everyone Should Know” from Erika Bell, PhD. Erika Bell is the Manger of Medical Information services at Bay Area Cancer Connections in Palo Alto, CA. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Francisco.
