Shoreline Lake's Yearly Sale of Cool Stuff

Shoreline Lake, in Mountain View, will be holding its "Yearly Sale of Cool Stuff" on September 26th - 27th, from 10am-4pm.

Held about once per year, this popular event covers a large selection of Boathouse equipment (watersports gear – including vessels – as well as tandem bikes), available for a fraction of the original price. The date is set this year so new owners also have the opportunity to use their purchases throughout early Fall and Indian Summer.

Another draw for visitors to this nature preserve within the heart of Silicon Valley, this unique annual gear sale is open to the public and provides a great chance for locals, and others in the know, to purchase gently used (usually less than a year old), well-maintained equipment for kids and adults.

The main items for 2026 are single and double kayaks, stand up paddleboards, tandem bicycles, and related equipment. Along with buyers getting a bargain on normally very expensive gear and parts (and avoiding large shipping fees), the event also helps Shoreline Lake rotate out older equipment to ensure patrons taking classes and renting equipment have access to top-of-the-line gear and can focus on enjoying themselves.
