Congrats to Mountain View Marauders Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders On 1st Place!

National Champions at the Pop Warner National Cheer Championships! Go Marauders!

On March 24, the Mountain View City Council will be recognizing the Mountain View Marauders Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders for their first place win at the Pop Warner National Cheer Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Disney World, Florida.

The team beat 16 other teams from across the country.

This is such an amazing accomplishment because it was the entire team’s first time to compete at a national level and most of them were first-time cheerleaders. This is only the second time in Mountain View Marauder history that a national title has been brought home. The first time was back in 2006.

ABOUT MOUNTAIN VIEW MARAUDERS JR. PEE WEE CHEER: The Fabulous Fifteen is a very special group of girls who love cheer. The cheer team consists of cheerleaders Jade Alexander, AntarRah Bey, RaAnee Bey, Mikayla Bajala, Julissa Cervantes, Chase Cobb, Justice Conley, Kiana Felde, Sabrina Hernandez, Janessa Ibarra, Libbiy Munguia, Catherine Murphy, Aaliyah Sanders, Valerie Sotelo, and Eva Tafoya. The cheer team is coached by Head Coach, Magie Cordero, and Assistant Coaches; CC Cordero, Lala Ringor, Jamie Larrieu, Krissy Silva, Kiley Payne, Erica Munguia, and Darelda Medina.

The Mountain View Marauders is the local association of Pop Warner Little Scholars Football and Cheerleading organization. The Marauders have served the youth of Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto and the surrounding communities since 1966.
