Bystanders then reportedly attacked the driver in the incident outside the Sports Page in Mountain View, police say. Witnesses are sought.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Police are seeking witnesses of an argument outside a Mountain View bar early Saturday morning that escalated into a man driving his car at two people, pinning one of them beneath it. Three people, including the driver, were injured in the incident reported at about 2 a.m. Saturday, May 26 at Sports Page Bar & Grill, 1431 Plymouth St., according to a Mountain View Police Department statement.

Officers arrived on scene and learned that prior to the incident, a man and woman were in an argument with another patron inside the bar. As the pair tried to leave they encountered the same patron in the parking lot but this time he was allegedly in his car, driving straight at them.

The suspect then allegedly hit the pair with his car, pinning the woman beneath the vehicle as he tried to drive way.
