Perennial Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division powers Mountain View High and Palo alto High square off this Thursday night for the first time in 2011.
The match is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. with the junior varsity match. The varsity game will follow.
Mountain View, led by head coach Jason Trip, is currently 5-5 overall after competing in the Westmont Tournament in Campbell over the weekend.

Palo Alto, the defending CIF Division I State champion, is off to another torrid start this fall. The Vikings are 11-2 overall, falling twice over the weekend in the loaded field at the Archbishop Mitty Tournament in San Jose.
The match is the league opener for both schools.
