The Mountain View High football team begins the 2011 season this Saturday at Hillsdale High in San Mateo.
The afternoon contest is the first game under new head coach Toure Carter.
Mountain View finished the 2010 season with a 8-3 record overall and 5-1 mark in league play. The Spartans fell 40-14 to Wilcox High in round one of the Central Coast Section playoffs last season.
