Bring the family and walk in the footsteps of the Ohlone in a replica Ohlone Village.
Try your hand at daily Ohlone activities such as acorn grinding, rope making, spear-throwing and face-painting. Specially-trained docents will teach flint-knapping, tool making, archery, fire-starting, and cooking methods. The Village is open to the public once a year for this special festival.
Ohlone Day is held annually to celebrate the daily life of the Ohlone people, who lived in the Bay Area for over 10,000 years. Ohlone Day raises funds to support Deer Hollow Farm and scholarships for children who attend the outstanding educational program at Deer Hollow Farm annually.
