MOUNTAIN VIEW EV CHARGING MOVES TO "FUEL PRICING" SYSTEM (ahead of new Statewide regulations). Starting today (Feb 26, 2020) users will pay for EV charging based on what is being used ($0.20 per kWh while actively charging), and $3/hour after a 20 minute grace period once charging has ended. This change in fees ensures all users of the City’s EV charging stations will pay the same price for the electricity they receive from the chargers, and encourage users to move their vehicle promptly when it is done charging. The City will also be adding about 30 more EV chargers in downtown by the end of the year.
