Fire Slows Traffic Along Highway 237 In Mountain View

Breaking: The roadside brush fire might cause some traffic delays, Mountain View police advised.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- Firefighters were on scene of a brush fire along Highway 237 in Mountain View Tuesday afternoon. The fire broke out sometime after 3 p.m. near Middlefield Road and Central Expressway.

At 3:56 p.m., Mountain View police said motorists might experience some delays as fire crews extinguish the blaze and clear the area.

Public safety officials in Sunnyvale advised residents that they might see smoke or falling ash on the west side of the city near the border with Mountain View.
