The Financial Planning Association of Silicon Valley and the Mountain View Public Library are pleased to host Financial Planners in the Library on Saturday, June 27 between 12-4 pm.
Members of the public are invited to meet with a Certified Financial Planner™ to have their personal finance questions answered at no charge in a sales-free environment. More than 100 appointments are available. Financial planners can provide expertise on topics such as:
- Budgeting
- Credit Issues
- Debt Management
- Insurance Coverage Review
- Estate Planning
- Tax Planning
- Investments
- Employee Benefits
- Education Funding
- Retirement Savings
- Special Needs Planning
The 30 minute appointments are being provided free of charge by the Pro Bono section of the Financial Planning Association of Silicon Valley (FPA-SV). FPA-SV believes that financial literacy leads to good financial decision-making. Part of their mission is to educate the community, no matter the level of financial knowledge or type of situation. To that end they organize many different types of events designed to help the community better deal with financial challenges and achieve life goals.
The Mountain View Public Library is pleased to be able to offer this service. Anyone may sign up for an appointment, regardless of residency. Registration and more information is available at:
