Injury Crash On EB SR237, Flooding I-280 Adding To Traffic Woes
The Santa Clara County commute appears especially troubling Thursday morning with a number of incidents on SR237, Hwy 101, SR87 and I-280.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- Motorists trying to escape commute problems Thursday morning will have a tough time of it -- from multiple problems traveling north to south on U.S. Highway 101 as far south as Gilroy leading into the San Jose metro area to the east-west travel on State Route 237 on the eastbound side along the Great America Parkway.
The third lane is blocked, bringing delays for commuters, the California Highway Patrol reported at 9:24 a.m.
For those motorists rounding that route to head north on Highway 101 to Palo Alto will also have issues negotiating heavy traffic located at University Avenue in East Palo Alto. The ramp is blocked as of 9:23 a.m., according to 511.org.
