Instant Harmony with Daniel Steinberg and the World Harmony Chorus
Come sing with us

Experience Instant Harmony! If you’ve never felt the magic of singing with a choir, come give it a try. All levels and abilities welcome (to sing along or just listen in).
This event will include a performance by the World Harmony Chorus and an Instant Harmony singing workshop with its director, Daniel Steinberg. Mr. Steinberg works with vocalists of all ages, and at all levels of ability and experience, teaching and singing choral repertoire from a wide variety of ethnic sources and folk traditions. All parts are taught by ear, and musical transcriptions are provided. If you’ve never experienced the magic of singing in a choir, or if you’ve always thought of yourself as someone who “just can’t sing”, this is a great way to start.
Founded in 1999, the World Harmony Chorus is a community chorus that welcomes participants of all ages and ability levels, with no auditions nor entrance requirements. The chorus sings music from around the world. This season’s repertoire includes songs from Kenya, South Africa, Bulgaria, Greece, Cuba, and Australia.
Daniel Steinberg has been collecting choral music from around the world for many years,
concentrating entirely on repertoire that is really fun and interesting to sing. He has been leading Instant Chorus workshops at dance and music festivals around the country for several years, and his supportive teaching style and infectious enthusiasm make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
